Headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, Instant Tax Service was founded in 2000 with the
goal of bringing a unique blend of customer service and speed to the national income tax preparation
market. We provide the general public with income tax preparation services, electronic filing, along with a variety
of refund options and other services relating to income tax return preparation.
Established in Cincinnati, Ohio in January of 1994. Instant Tax Service believes our staff is the foundation of our business and is the key element behind our high ranking customer satisfaction. Without the hard work, skill, and attention to detail of so many individuals, Instant Tax Service would be unable to deliver our customers the best quality products and services.
Though national in size and scope, Instant Tax Service is comprised of friends, family members and neighbors.

Fez
opened Instant Refund Tax Service in January 1994 while a sophomore accounting and finance major
at the University of Cincinnati. The idea to open a tax preparation business came a little more
than a year earlier when H&R Block offered free tax preparation to high school valedictorians.
Sensing an opportunity, Fez searched for an office near his home, and when a tax preparation
business failed to renew their lease he immediately filled the vacancy.
Fez's first year in business was a resounding success. During his initial tax season he prepared returns for nearly 600 customers. Buoyed by good fortune, Fez continued to grow and expand his business throughout the decade. By 1999 Instant Refund Tax Service was preparing over 21,000 tax returns in Cincinnati, Ohio through 26 locations. The tremendous increase in business volume was testament to Fez's carefully researched and planned expansion, and to his emphasis on meeting the individual needs of his customers.
In November 1999 Fez sold Instant Refund Tax Service to Jackson Hewitt Inc. and stayed on as the general manager and consultant for his former offices. Then in June 2000, Fez formed Instant Tax Service with the goal of bringing his unique blend of customer service and speed to the national income tax service market. In 2000, Fez oversaw the opening and executive management of nearly 75 new offices in five metropolitan areas including Atlanta, Chicago, Indianapolis, Orlando and Washington D.C. In the years since the founding of Instant Tax Service, Fez has continued to grow into new markets and has solidified his business through key business relationships and the hiring of energetic, focused and intelligent individuals.
Fez earned his B.S. in finance and accounting from the University of Cincinnati in 1996. He has been profiled prominently in many magazines and is a member of several business guilds. Recently Fez was recognized for his achievements by the Dayton, Ohio Chamber of Commerce.
